What LabelLab is
LabelLab is a free project label generator: type your project name, pick a style — code, slug, tag, badge or codename — and get a batch of labels you can copy or download as .txt.
How it works
Label styles are assembled from your project name using pattern templates, with random numbers and codename words drawn from your browser's secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues). No servers, no accounts, no tracking.
Why it exists
Naming things is famously one of the hard problems — mostly because it happens under time pressure in a blank input box. LabelLab kills the blank-box moment and nudges you toward labels that stay consistent.
What it is not
LabelLab does not manage projects, enforce conventions, or check uniqueness against your systems — those are team decisions. It makes candidate labels; your conventions doc makes them official.
